Celebrating Easter and 130 Ukrainian defenders who returned from captivity

Today, on Easter Sunday, we managed to bring back 130 Ukrainian defenders from captivity. This is a great holiday for both our soldiers' families and the entire country. With faith in their hearts, they defended the hottest areas, such as Bakhmut, Soledar, Kharkiv, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia.

The NIB team at the Ministry of Reintegration meets the guys with Easter treats. The NIB staff prepared Easter eggs and traditional cakes for everyone. At the same time, everyone received phones to tell the good news to their loved ones. Backpacks with all the necessary things were also prepared for the released prisoners: warm and comfortable clothes, shoes, underwear and a full set of hygiene products.

As always, the President of Ukraine is personally involved in the exchange. Under his coordination, prisoners are released thanks to the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War (CHPOW) and law enforcement agencies.
