This was announced by the head of the National Information Bureau, Oleksandr Smirnov.

"To date, almost 600 people have been returned from captivity, almost 100 of them are civilians and the rest are military... We are also collecting data and verifying people - this is more than 30,000 adults and almost 7,300 children. People choose themselves from the territory of the aggressor state or there are people who contact the Ministry of Reintegration and this is an individual return of children. Currently, there are 53 children who have been returned," Oleksandr Smirnov said .

He also emphasized that every exchange of prisoners is long-awaited, but it is very difficult, and added that there are no exact figures regarding the illegal removal of Ukrainians.

"There are figures that inform the aggressor himself is more than 3 million people forcibly deported to their territory, including about 600,000 children", - noted the head of the NIB.
