The National Information Bureau coordinates the applying of priority measures to ensure the social protection of persons released from captivity. The Bureau also provides them with initial support immediately after release:

• organizes prompt phone communication with loved ones;
• provides basic necessities;
• assists in renewal of personal documents and bank cards;
• together with the Ministry of Reintegration, promotes obtaining appropriate social and legal protection and state cash allowance as a compensation for suffering the deprivation of liberty.
